The Wall Street Journal reports that DHS will "intensify" its enforcement efforts against employers around the US: John Morton, the new chief of U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement, a unit of the Department of Homeland Security, said that the agency is set to increase the number of companies it will audit and systematically impose fines on violators. Sometime back there was a thread in IV where people predicted how many applications were processed based on the receipt numbers.

Hello,
I'm available for all aspects of Flash development from Flash video to ActionScript. One of the projects I'm currently working on is a virtual tour, fully updatable and dynamic.
I also understand and have developed AfterEffects peices for web publishing purposes. So if you need Flash animation, I can do that too. My lastest work was a FLV and Flash intro peice for Enyce.

I am happy to report that the USCIS has approved the P-1B visa application that I filed on behalf of Superman is Dead (http://www.supermanisdead.net/), an Indonesian band, that will be appearing on Warped Tour �09 (http://www.warpedtour.com/warpedtour/index.asp).

i called TSC and after about 10 mins or wait, i was directed to a very nice lady. Who basically told me that they are processing April 30 application adn since mine is august RD, I have about 4 more months before they look at my file. So to answer, they do go by RD and not ND. She also tole me that my name check has been cleared. Its a matter of time now.
I have not seen any updates on my case, since the LUD after FP. I do have a criminal issue, so I anticipate an interview. However, i have forwared all my court docs to them when i applied for 485. some attorneys tell me that interveiw may not even be needed since they have all the court docs. It was for a DWI 8 years ago.

Now for GC, if I mention the previous work ex in the form, do I need to provide the returns or something??
Not required. no need of them even you mention your work exp from india. Don't worry. just address is fine.

I had already gotten my USDOS approval and my USCIS approval for my J waiver. The whole process took less than a month which surprised us! But it was stated on the I-797 that I should start working for my employer within 90days from March 19, which will be June 19. The problem is my training program does not end until June 30. Even if I wait until June 19 to file for my H1B, and if I don't go for premium processing, once they approve it and retro-date it, there will be an overlap from June 19-30. Can I apply for the H1 on June 30 instead (when my J expires) but that will be more than 90 days from March 19? I will appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Hi,
My H1 was denied the last cycle. The denial decision was posted on Nov 24th. My application was in RFE state for quite some time, hence the delay. The question that I have is, as the denial came very late, will I be able to apply for an H1B this year. We generally file all our documents on 3.31, I am wondering if I would not be eligible this year because 3.31 is not 6 months from 11.24. There is an rule that I cannot apply if there has been a denial in the recent 6 months. Please let me know if that is the case. Will I be ineligible for this year (3.2010).
I am currently in my 4th year on a L1.
